Robbie joined McCrory Brickwork in 2018 while working part-time as a labourer to put himself through university, studying for a BSc in Quantity Surveying. From the outset, his work ethic, commitment and willingness to learn quickly set him apart.
Since then, Robbie has become an established and trusted member of the commercial team, progressing into a Commercial Manager role and taking responsibility for managing his own projects. He works predominantly within the brickwork division but regularly supports schemes across McCrory Construction and other divisions when needed.
Robbie has been commercially responsible for a wide range of complex and high-value packages, including brickwork, blockwork, scaffolding, architectural metalwork and façade remediation works. His experience spans major city-centre developments, live airport environments and occupied residential buildings, where attention to detail, cost control and clear communication are critical.
With a calm, organised approach and a strong understanding of both site operations and commercial delivery, Robbie plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, transparently and in line with client expectations. His journey from labourer to Senior Commercial Manager is a great example of the opportunities available within McCrory for those willing to put the work in.
