Paul is the founder and namesake of McCrory. Leaving Ireland at 19 with a strong work ethic and a determination to build something he could be proud of, Paul began his career as a bricklayer in London before settling in Manchester at the age of 23. What started as a trade quickly grew into a long term commitment to quality work and strong relationships.
As McCrory Brickwork took on larger and more complex projects, including landmark developments such as the Arndale and The Haçienda, the business built a reputation for reliability, craftsmanship and pride in delivery. For Paul, however, success has always been about more than just the buildings.
Paul firmly believes that a business is only as strong as its people. His focus on attracting the right individuals, developing talent and creating a genuine, family led culture has been central to the company’s growth. Many team members have progressed alongside him, sharing the values of hard work, loyalty and mutual respect that continue to define the McCrory businesses.
With brickwork and construction at its core, The McCrory Group has grown steadily and organically. Today, the business remains grounded in the same principles Paul started with quality, trust and looking after its people while continuing to evolve for the future.
