Katie joined McCrory Brickwork in 2020 after completing a one-week work experience placement at just 17, a placement that quickly turned into a long-term role and the start of her career with the business.
While studying at Loughborough University, Katie remained closely involved with McCrory, returning during university holidays, completing her placement year with the team, and re-joining full-time following graduation. She achieved a First Class degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, alongside a Diploma in Industrial Studies.
Now part of the commercial team as a Commercial Manager, Katie works across live projects managing and reporting project finances, producing weekly progress reports, procuring materials and supporting the tendering of new opportunities.
Her experience spans a wide range of sectors including education, leisure, residential, healthcare and commercial developments, with projects such as Co-op Live Arena, Rodney Street, Shotton Mill and Manchester Royal Infirmary among those she has worked on.
Katie is currently working towards becoming a RICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor and continues to be a valued and growing presence within the McCrory Brickwork commercial team.
