Rodney Street, Ancoats, was a high-profile residential development delivered in partnership with Wates, forming part of Manchester’s continued regeneration of one of its most sought-after neighbourhoods.
McCrory Brickwork was appointed to deliver the full masonry package across the scheme, which comprised a mix of apartments and townhouses. Our works included facing brickwork, internal blockwork, masonry support systems, brick slip lintels, and cavity fire barriers, all delivered over a 40-week programme.
The project presented notable challenges due to its height, complexity, and tight city-centre constraints, requiring careful coordination and consistent attention to detail throughout. As the scaffolding was removed, the quality and scale of the masonry became fully visible, marking a successful completion of a standout residential development in the heart of Ancoats.
