ITV Studios is home to some of the UK’s most recognisable television sets, including Coronation Street and Emmerdale Village. McCrory Construction has a long-standing relationship with ITV, delivering works across both sites as part of ongoing maintenance and future-proofing programmes.
Between 2018 and 2019, McCrory Construction was appointed as Principal Contractor to carry out works across the Coronation Street set in Manchester and Emmerdale Village, with a focus on maintaining live production environments while minimising disruption to filming.
The scope of works included sitewide roofing repairs and new roof installations, chimney works, underpinning and drainage repairs, fireproofing, repointing and lintel repairs, timber treatments, and scaffolding.
